I work with individuals and couples who want to lead a full, rich life, based on their values– what is MOST important to them. I offer sliding-scale, highly affordable rates. Please speak with me about this if you need fee adjustment.

We will work together, using mindfulness or present moment awareness. This is the primary treatment I use in my practice. This treatment approach is called ACT or Acceptance Commitment Therapy. ACT is a kind of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and has received considerable support in scientific studies examining its effectiveness across a range of problems.

I have used this approach with people who were struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, anger, relationship issues, health issues and life transitions.

I have been practicing Contemplative Psychotherapy since 2009. I have six years of experience providing mental health services, including psycho-education classes, individual and couples therapy as well as addiction counseling. I have over twenty years experience in group process. I have been using mindfulness based techniques for over ten years. In 2008, I became an empowered meditation facilitator and began leading meditation groups. My own practice is Theravada Buddhism with an emphasis on insight meditation.
